About the Coach and Author.
Tommy Martin is a fully qualified British football coach and author from Newcastle England, with over 35 years experience playing and coaching in many countries, such as England, Jersey, the U.S.A, Australia, Asia, He holds certified licences from the English Football Association, and the American Soccer Federation.
He is a former midfielder and Northern league club player in the U.K. and Southern California league player. He was a successful skills coach in the U.S.A. for over 15 years who constantly developed young players from recreational league standard to classic league standard. Some players went on to win soccer scholarships in the U.S.A. and some even went on to play for professional clubs.
In 1999 he was also involved in the Olympic soccer development program in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Tommy has been a football coach in Asia for 20 years
His football sayings book Spanking Goals and Toe Pokes: Football Sayings Explained was published in Hong Kong and his books are now being sold in many countries.
He is in contact with many football clubs in England and
is always on the look out for talented young Asian players who he can recommend for trials at these clubs.

Assumption student has trials with English premiership football club Newcastle United.
Assumption student Natkanet Jintapaputanasiri 15 years old, who attends Assumption school Samrong in Thailand and plays for Samutprackan United football club had an amazing opportunity to have a trial with one of the premierships famous football clubs Newcastle united while on a football and historical tour of the U.K. and Scotland with Premier uk/Asia guided tours based in Newcastle upon tyne England. Natkanet who was on the tour with his family and coaches Master Nathapon and Master Tommy Martin U.E.F.A. football coach, who still has many football contacts in the U.K and still does some scouting for clubs in the U.K. arranged the trial at the Newcastle football academy for Natkanet. He trained in the morning with the Newcastle under 16s and was asked to come back in the afternoon he did very well and Newcastle will keep in contact with Tommy in the future for Thailand.
